You’ll get attracted to HTC One M8 from the first glance, as since this smartphone has been introduced into the market, it has been competing with many smartphones of high features. That’s why we are presenting the review, pros and cons of HTC One M8.
HTC focused on improving the screen’s size to be 5” with FHD quality, also it improved the technologies of the camera, the processor, the battery and the sound intensity because of the BoomSound speakers. The phone is dual SIM but the camera resolution isn’t of the expected quality.

HTC One M8 Pros

1. The screen is Full High-definition (FHD).
2. Different features of the rear camera like the Ultra Pixel technology and the Duo camera sensor.
3. The dual tone flash of the rear camera improves the quality of the picture without distorting it with the white flash light color.
4. The high sound intensity is because of the BoomSound speakers.
5. Supports 4G connection.
6. The screen is protected with corning gorilla glass 3.
7. The performance is fast and good and won’t crash with multitasking.
8. The battery is powerful and supports fast charging.
9. There is a feature that saves the battery life that can be activated and it disconnects internet connections when locking the screen, all connections and applications and only allow main tasks like calls and text messages.
10. There is a sensor in the phone that enables you to use some applications to measure some vital activities like counting your steps and how many calories you burn precisely.

HTC One M8 cons

1. It is flawed that its rear camera is very disappointing of average quality.
2. Be careful, the phone is of slippery coating, that’s why you have to hold it tight so it won’t slip.
3. The phone gets hot when over processing like while playing games.

• The HTC One M8 is of a fascinating metal elegant design.
• Be careful with the phone is of slippery coating, that’s why you have to hold it tight so it won’t slip.
• Because of its curved edges, it is easy to hold with one hand.
• Dual Nano SIM card supported.
• Supports 4G connection.
• Weights 160 grams. 

Screen

• HTC One M8 screen is 5.0 inches of 1080 × 1920 pixels (~441 ppi).
• The screen’s performance is good regarding the colors, brightness, viewing angle and you can use it in sunlight.
• It is protected with corning gorilla glass 3.

Performance

• Qualcomm snapdragon 801, Quad core 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM which grants you fast performance.
• The phone gets hot when over processing like when playing games.
• OS Android v4.4.2 (Kit Kat).
• Internal storage 16 GB.
• HTC One M8 supports external storage up to 128 GB.

Rear Camera

• Duo camera of 4 MP, which is disappointing, but it has got many features that improve the performance and the quality of the pictures.
• Supports the amazing Ultra Pixel technology which is capable of gathering 300% of the light while taking a picture in low light.
• One of the flaws of the Ultra Pixel that when it zooms in, the quality of the pictures is reduced.
• Right by the rear camera of  HTC One M8, there is a dual tone flash which contributes to enhancing the quality of the pictures without distorting it with the white flash color.
• Duo camera sensor to support 3D technology and calculate the distance between the person standing in front of the rear camera and the camera itself.
• Also, the sensor does another great task which is copying and pasting, meaning that when you take a picture of a place and you want to add in another picture of you in the same picture or from the studio, this feature transfers it professionally to the picture.

• HTC One M8 battery will last for a whole day with normal use, internet browsing, capturing pictures and YouTube watching.
• In case of intense use, it might last for 11 hours.
• There is a feature that saves the battery life that can be activated and it disconnects internet connections when locking the screen, all connections, applications and only allow main tasks like calls and text messages.
• There is a USB slot enhanced with the fast charging feature, which is very convenient for smartphones’ batteries because most of them die really fast and we all want our phones fully charged as soon as possible.
