In this article, we will talk about Meizu M5 Note Mobile Phone, in which Meizu tried to match the distinguished capabilities (such as the camera, performance and strength of the battery) with a good price.

Meizu M5 Note Review:

• The mobile phone has metal and plastic dividers on the edges of the mobile to facilitate network connection.
• On the right-hand side of the mobile, you will find the Power button and two sound control buttons, while on the side left-hand side, you will find the SIM card ports.
• On the lower side of the mobile is the charging port, and to its right you’ll find the external speakers of the mobile. On its left, you can find the earphone jack and handset.
• On the back of the mobile are the camera and a dual flash.

Pros:

• The screen is not equipped with a protective layer.

• The mobile phone is made of metal, which gives it a beautiful shape.
• You’ll find a slight curvature at the edges of the mobile, which serves to make it easy for the user to control it with one hand for a long time.

Screen

Pros:

Cons:

• The ease of breaking and scratching the screen because it does not have an extra layer of protection. This is a great con, especially that the smaller version has an extra layer of protection.

Performance

Pros:

• The mobile phone comes with a Mediatek quad-core processor and an internal memory of 16/32 GB. You can also add an external memory of up to 256 GB. The phone comes with 3 GB RAM and it supports the operation of two SIM cards.
• The mobile phone supports 4G communication technology and also Gyroscope, OTG and step-counter technologies.

Cons:

• The mobile does not support FM Radio operation technology or the NFC.
• You cannot run both SIM cards and a memory card simultaneously; you have to forgo one of them.
• The mobile phone graphics wizard is not the best.

User Experience:

• The mobile’s performance is suitable when dealing with multiple programs simultaneously.
• This mobile phone is a good choice for you if you are a fan of light and medium games. However, if you are a fan of huge games with sophisticated graphics, this mobile will not be suitable for you, and you will notice some lagging when playing the games. The mobile will also overheat with the intensive use of these games.
• The Meizu interface has nice extras. For example, you can unlock the screen by double-clicking it and click twice to lock it back. You can also draw the first letter of any program you have selected before and it will open.
• The performance of the mobile’s fingerprint sensor is strong and smooth, but not the best among the competitors. The problem of the fingerprint sensor is that you cannot open the mobile phone from the first touch; you may have to do it twice, once to light up the screen and the other to unlock it. 
• The mobile comes without the Google software package and you will need to download when you first use the mobile. It usually has a size of about 100 MB.
• The mobile phone’s speakers are very high and strong, but they are not the purest.
• The mobile control buttons do not exist in this phone; you can control it through the fingerprint sensor. Through a single touch you can go backwards, a long press will take you back to the Home screen. Through sliding your finger down the screen, you can check out and switch between open apps. 
• The GPS performance of the mobile is not very fast; it needs approximately 7 seconds to define the location, and sometimes it even loses the signal.

Camera

Pros:

• The mobile phone comes with a 13-megapixel camera, f/2.0 lens aperture and dual flash.
• The mobile records videos at 1080p/30 sec.

Cons:

• The mobile’s selfie camera comes with 5 megapixels only and without flash.

User Experience:

• The mobile’s camera performance is acceptable in external lighting conditions and in direct sunlight, but the quality is low in interior and poor lighting, and you may notice the presence of noise.
• The mobile photographs panorama photos and support the Autofocus technology, but generally we notice the absence of brightness in the colors of images.
• The mobile’s selfies are acceptable in powerful lighting and the accuracy and beauty of the images decreases in the night photography, especially that there is no flash with it.

Battery

Pros:

• The battery is strong with a capacity of 4000 mAh.
• It supports fast-charging technology.

Cons:

• You cannot change the mobile phone’s battery yourself.

User Experience:

• The mobile’s battery performance is strong and may last up to one full day of moderate to heavy use.
• The mobile fully charges within 90 minutes approximately, which is a very good rate.
• Although the mobile phone is the big brother of Meizu 3 Note, the capacity of its battery is 100 mAh less, which is a vague move on the side of the company.
