Pros

  • Large capacity. It consists of 3 shelves for different sorts of stains.
  • There’s a half-wash button if the dishes aren’t too unclean. It saves both electricity and water.
  • You can pause and continue the dishwasher at any time by pressing the Pause button.
  • You can set the delay timer for the dishwasher to start automatically within 24 hours.
  • It has a Half Load option, meaning you can wash the dishes even if the dishwasher isn’t full. Simply arrange them in the upper or lower shelves and choose Half Load Up or Down.

Cons

  • Opening the dishwasher’s door while it’s turned on could cause an electric shock, which is a major common problem in Ariston dishwashers. The only way to avoid this is to set it on the program where you can open the dishwasher’s door without any complications.
  • It takes up a lot of space, so you have to make room in the kitchen for it.
  • You need to install a filter for the water tube to prevent any residue from sticking to the dishes.
  • The spare parts are expensive and you would find it hard to find original pieces.

After-Sales Services Review

  • It has a one year warranty.
  • There are many complaints about the maintenance services: the service isn’t good, and the maintenance workers aren’t punctual.
  • The maintenance shops don’t cover all the cities — only Cairo, Alexandria, Al-Sharkia, and Al-Gharbia.

Quick Comparison with LG:

Ariston is efficient, quick, easy to use. Its problem is that it causes an electric shock while opening the door. That’s alarming, especially if there are kids in the house. You need to unplug the dishwasher first before you open the door. The complaints from the maintenance and the unavailability of the spare parts is also a drawback.

On the other hand, LG dishwasher is very efficient and has a Direct Drive motor. It has a 14 space setting, same as Ariston. It consists of 10 programs. However, it is very expensive compared to other dishwasher brands.
