Mechanism of action of Mycophenolate

  • It depletes guanosine nucleotides preferentially in T and B lymphocytes and inhibits their proliferation, thereby suppressing cell-mediated immune responses and antibody formation.

Therapeutic Indications of Cellcept Tablets

  • CellCept is used when it required to prevent immune system hyperactivity as in case of organ transplantation
  • CellCept is indicated in combination with ciclosporin and corticosteroids for the prophylaxis of acute transplant rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal, cardiac or hepatic transplants.

Method of Administration of Cellcept Tablets
