The range extender uses wireless N technologies to deliver such high speeds, and offers superior security. It is compatible with older generation IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11b devices as well. Its onboard RJ45 Ethernet port lets you connect Ethernet cables, converting the device into an AP router. The router’s two 5dBi omnidirectional antennas are detachable. The router provides WPA/WPA2 encryptions along with conventional WEP for added security. It firewall features like Wireless MAC Address Filtering and AP Isolation prevent malicious attacks over the Internet that can wreck your network. Setting up the device is easy.
