Emporio Armani, known simply as Armani, is an Italian luxury fashion house founded by Giorgio Armani that designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails innovative fashions, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, watches, jewelry, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics, and even home decor. The brand markets these products under several brands: Giorgio Armani Privé, Giorgio Armani, Armani Collezione, Emporio Armani (including EA7), Armani Jeans, Armani Junior, and Armani Exchange. The brand benefited from the Armani name's association with luxury fashion, capitalizing on its position in the fashion industry. In 2016, the company's sales were estimated at 2.65 billion. In 2017, Giorgio Armani announced that his company would close two of its brands, Armani Collezione and Armani Jeans, as part of his company's restructuring process. While Armani Collezioni will be integrated into the 'Giorgio Armani' line, Armani Jeans will be added to the 'Emporio Armani' line due to the similarity of their styles and use of the same brand logo.
