This is the Verge case, which is made up of two parts. There’s the thin TPU case that goes against your new S8 and S8 plus. Then there’s the hard case that goes on top of that. The Verus Verge case is available in red, military green, satin silver, shine gold and the one I had which is dark silver. The first impression was that it had a great look to it, with a sort of brushed metal look. It has very comfortable hold to it, and doesn’t slip out of my hand Which is probably the most important feature of any case you look at. There are the obligatory cut outs on the back for the Camera and the dual-LED flash, this provides some distance from the camera lense, so the phone can be put on its back and not be resting directly on the lens. As well as two cut outs on the bottom for the micro USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The volume rocker and power button are protected by textured buttons. The Verge is a really sharp looking case, and could possibly be my daily driver. While it’s not chunky or bulky it still provides protection for my device. The grip is a major bonus, so that it won’t be slippery. Verus uses just the TPU layer at the top and bottom, so it will allow signal to transmit into your device. That means it won’t affect your signal for voice and data, as well as WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC.
