Features include 1" mini LCD screen with battery level, file/folder including name/length, menu settings, volume and much easier to use understand. The recorder has sound activation, time/date, auto record time, repeat time, record length. It also has password protection to stop anyone accidentally using the player/recorder. WAV file record format 16bit sample rate @8000Hz 32Kbps for the longest record time of 1200 hours Over 100 hours at highest quality 384Kbps Default setting 192Kbps (200 hrs) Includes 64Kbps (600 hrs) 128Kbps (300 hrs) When micronic007 tested the recorder the battery lasted for 16 hours recording nonstop and 20 hours on playback. It was simple to use and the instructions to get started with were fine. Making sense of its functions were self-explanatory once you get the hang of it. To start recording or playback just one touch of a button is needed. Setting time/date and different recording options with up+ and down- scroll screen and on/off enter button is easy to follow. Each recording saves time/date/length and name with easy playback using the headphones or the PC USB connection. The record length of each file can be set from 1 to 900 minutes (60 seconds - 15 hours). Connects to any PC/Mac using the short USB lead and can charge, download and playback from the same lead. The sound quality is excellent in all 5 settings and overall is an impressive little gadget.
