The City Key a graphic novel based on the famous Alexandria Quartet by British writer Lawrence Durrell. Writer Lawrence durlly , who worked in the city of Alexandria in the 1930s, inspired his novel Alexandria Quartet from this cosmopolitan, multicultural port. The story is mainly based on storytelling. The writer tells us about this city about his impressions and feelings about the city through Darali, who falls in love with Justin, who is married to an Egyptian Christian Nassim. He writes about the contradictions of coming to town through a collection of memories. The city is made up of beauty, ugliness, sophistication, the decline of culture and ignorance. He talks about his friends, girlfriend and lover, as he portrayed himself amid an abyss of languages ​​and cultures. A paradox haunts Daryl as he is overwhelmed by pleasure and laziness. The story tells about the beginning of immigration to Palestine during World War II and the escape of Justin, the main character in this novel, to Palestine and the beginning of the Jewish settlements (kibbutz).
