Biovea's Description

New Breakthrough Joint Care Formula from Newton-Everett Biotech® takes Joint Care to the Next Level! SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED takes the guesswork out of selecting the most effective product to help treat the different forms of arthritis and joint disorders. SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED contains a precise balance of leading joint care ingredients including Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM plus the proven power of 28 additional joint care ingredients. These ingredients work in synergy to help your body rebuild and fight pain and discomforts associated with joint disorders. SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED can help rebuild, lubricate and protect your joints while helping to control joint flare-ups, pain and inflammation. Unlike any of the existing products available today, that only focus on joint cartilage, SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED contains 27 specific ingredients found to support overall joint comfort and health. How SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED can help: • Promotes joint comfort, freedom from stiffness, and ease of movement • Helps reduce pain and inflammation associated with joint disorders. • Helps rebuild cartilage • Helps the flexibility of joints • Helps the development of new cells and connective tissue • Helps promote strong and healthy bones • Helps promote healthy muscles How does SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED work? A number of natural remedies made available over the past several years have proven to be extremely beneficial in providing relief for arthritis sufferers. The most effective of these formulas have usually included only one or two significant ingredients intended to help diminish the pain, inflammation and cartilage damage associated with certain forms of arthritis. The problem is, however, that different types of the disease attack the body in different ways. For example, osteoarthritis, the most common form of the disease, involves the gradual degeneration of the joints in the body. The joint cartilage acting as a natural "shock absorber" is gradually eroded. The ends of the bones where the cartilage is attached, the capsule surrounding the joint and adjacent muscle tissue are also adversely affected. While inflammation may not be significant in most cases of osteoarthritis, the level of pain caused by the disease intensifies as the cartilage loses its ability to allow the joint to move smoothly. In contrast, rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune disorder affecting the entire body. Instead of acting as a defense mechanism, the immune system is triggered by the disease to turn on the body and attack healthy tissue. Rheumatoid arthritis is particularly harsh on the joints. These differences, along with the needs of those suffering from other forms of joint disorders or injuries, have led to the creation of a highly effective and versatile formulation -- SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED. By providing the equivalent of seven or more different products in one, SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED takes the guesswork out of selecting the most effective product to help treat the different forms of arthritis and joint disorders. When dealing with disorders stemming from arthritis or joint injury, the most effective measures may be those taken to enhance the body's ability to heal the cartilage and surrounding tissues. Understanding the body's mechanics in maintaining healthy cartilage was instrumental in developing the most effective formulation... The overall framework of cartilage is comprised mostly of protein collagen. Within the network of collagen fibers are large molecules called proteoglycans that act as water magnets for the synovial fluid. Synovial fluid helps to create a spongy cushion in and around the cartilage helping to protect the joint. Scattered throughout the cartilage are tiny factories called chondrocytes which manufacture new supplies of collagen and proteoglycans needed for building new cartilage. They also secrete enzymes necessary to rid the cartilage of worn-out tissue. Disease or injury can greatly impair this process causing debilitation of the afflicted joints. SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED is designed to work within the cartilage matrix. Each nutrient found in this remarkable formula is included for its unique properties in helping to treat specific forms of arthritis or joint injury. What are the key ingredients in SUPERFLEX-3 ADVANCED?Glucosamine Sulfate: A long chain amino-sugar naturally occurring in cartilage. It is the major building block of the proteoglycans and used specifically for production of glycosamineoglycans (GAGs). GAGS are proteins that bind water within the structure of cartilage. Glucosamine also stimulates the chondrocytes to produce more collagen and proteoglycans. Chondroitin Sulfate: Another of the mucopolysaccharides found in cartilage. Acting as a water magnet, chondroitin helps elevate the levels of synovial fluid in the joint. Along with the water attracted by chondroitin are essential nutrients necessary for healthy cartilage and joints. MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane): An essential nutrient required by the body and plays an important role in the production of collagen. Insufficient levels of MSM can lead to the inability of the body to repair or replace damaged tissue. MSM also plays a significant part in controlling pain caused by inflamed tissue cells created by the inability of cells to remain permeable and regulate fluid levels in response to atmospheric pressure changes. This may be why many people claim to be able to predict weather changes by the pain in their joints. MSM helps regulate fluid transfer in the tissues by keeping the cell walls flexible and permeable. Green Lipped Sea Mussel: Contains rich stores of mucopolysaccharides and high levels of hyaluronic acid -- a major constituent fo synovial fluid and helps to lubricate the joint and protect against cartilage damage. L-Histidine: An important amino acid usually found to be deficient in those suffering from arthritis. Proper intake of L-histidine may prove beneficial in reducing inflammation associated with joint disease or injury. Boron: An important mineral renowned for its role in helping to prevent or slow the effects of osteoporosis. Evidence suggests that boron may prove helpful in treating some forms of arthritis. Pantothenic Acid: Pantothenic acid is essential for the metabolism of food. It is essential in the synthesis of hormones and cholesterol. It also plays an important role in the secretion of hormones, such as cortisone, because of the role it plays in supporting the adrenal gland. These hormones assist the metabolism, help to fight allergies and are beneficial in the maintenance of healthy joints, muscles, skin and nerves. Calcium & Magnesium: Calcium is essential for bone, joint, muscle and ligament health, while magnesium is necessary for calcium’s proper incorporation into bone, by preventing a buildup of calcium into the soft tissues and joints. Vitamin B-6: Deficiency of Vitamin B6 has been linked to Joint and muscle pain. Vitamin B6 plays a key role in converting the proteins you eat into the amino acids that make up your muscles. Vitamin E: A few studies suggest that vitamin E may be helpful in both the treatment (pain relief, increased joint mobility) and prevention (at least in men) of osteoarthritis. When joints become inflamed, they often suffer a depletion of Vitamin E. Supplementation with this vitamin may help ease some of the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Vitamin E has also been found to improve the longevity of the implant bearings used in total joint replacements. Potassium: Potassium aids rheumatic or arthritic conditions (causing acids to leave the joints and ease stiffness). Potassium is crucial for the elimination of wastes. Potassium is a natural pain desensitizer. Potassium helps control convulsions, headaches and migraines, promotes faster healing of cuts, bruises and other injuries and generally contributes to a sense of well being. Potassium is stored in the muscles. Body builders use a “potassium load” to give their muscles more energy but there is no scientific proof of its effectiveness. Silica: Silica is a mineral which can enhance the effectiveness of other joint health supplements including glucosamine and chondroitin sulphates, as well as calcium-magnesium. Research into Silica has shown that it is this mineral which: • Regulates how calcium is deposited • Cross-links with glucosamine to form joint cartilage • Connects chondroitin sulfates to make up joint & connective tissue • Activates the enzymes that produce cartilage. Betaine: Betaine—also known as trimethylglycine—is essential for rebuilding connective tissue and manufacturing cartilage components. Betaine works with folic acid, Vitamins B-6 and B-12, and methionine to form SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), and to donate methyl molecules, which are vital for proper liver function and cellular replication. SAMe protects and repairs joints by (1) increasing the number of cartilage cells, (2) stimulating the synthesis of proteoglycans, and (3) decreasing cartilage loss. Boswellia Serrata: Boswellin is a derivative of the Boswellia serrata tree that grows in India. It's also known as Boswellia or "Indian frankincense," and has been used for centuries to combat joint inflammation and pain in India, North Africa, and China. Unlike modern NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen and aspirin, Boswellin doesn't cause stomach irritation or other harmful side effects. In its cream form, Boswellin can be applied directly to the skin to reduce inflammation. A number of scientific studies have confirmed the effectiveness of Boswellin. This ayurvedic herb contains a compound known as beta boswellic acid, which is anti-inflammatory and analgesic. It has been shown in animal and test-tube studies to inhibit the production of leukotriens (biologically active compounds formed from arachidonic acid and other polyunsaturated fatty acids that cause inflammation and allergic reactions). An important recent study of 175 patients with rheumatic and arthritic symptoms showed promising results. Within four weeks of taking Boswellin, 122 patients reported reduced stiffness and inflammation. Boswellin also appeared to be particularly effective in alleviating lower back pain. Turmeric Extract: Turmeric is known for its ability to support joint and heart health. Research has confirmed Turmeric’s ability to inhibit joint inflammation, support healthy cholesterol levels, and modulate the immune system. In addition, recent studies indicate that Curcumin, a component of Turmeric, enhances an enzyme that protects the brain against free radical damage. Turmeric is a great agent to decrease the pain and inflammation of your joints. Bromelain: Current scientific research suggests that Bromelain, a powerful enzyme, acts to control redness and swelling. Bromelain restores the healthy balance of prostaglandins without any of the unpleasant consequences of aspirin-type drugs, and it is more desirable for those suffering from the sharp burning or aching feeling associated with joint swelling. While this extraordinary enzyme has been examined in hundreds of studies over the last 20 years, one example leaps out from the literature. Over a five-year period, doctors administered Bromelain in their clinical practice to over 700 people suffering from joint redness and swelling, strains, contusions, abrasions and the like. The doctors found that administration of Bromelain was usually followed by a marked subsidence of discomfort from swelling, with increased mobility. Further, the time between admission and discharge of patients was reduced by 35-50%. At least 80% of the people who took Bromelain obtained an excellent to good response. The clinicians agreed that few other enzymes "have such scope of action". Yucca: Yucca root is used as an herbal remedy to relieve inflammation. Yucca root has a long history of use to reduce pain and inflammation caused by arthritis and rheumatism. Yucca root can also reduce joint inflammation. A constituent of the yucca called a phytosterol is responsible for its anti-inflammatory properties. Devil’s Claw: Devil’s Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) has been used for more than half a century in Europe for musculoskeletal pain, and during that time has become an established treatment option. The European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy (ESCOP) now recommends Devil’s Claw extract for painful osteoarthritis and the relief of low back pain. Research has shown Devil’s Claw extract to be equal to or better than ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and other NSAIDS for pain relief. Most notably, this natural plant extract is an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antidiabetic1 and offers a safer alternative to the now “suspect” COX-2 inhibitors—such as Celebrex® and Vioxx®*—especially since research has found it to be equivalent to them for relieving pain. L-Phenylalanine: L-phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that helps replenish synovial fluid to lubricate the joint and to absorb shock. White Willow Bark: Willow bark is used to ease pain and reduce inflammation, and there is good evidence that it is effective as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Researchers believe that the chemical salicin, found in willow bark, is responsible for these effects. However, studies have identified several other components of willow bark which have antioxidant, fever-reducing, antiseptic, and immune-boosting properties. Some studies have shown willow is as effective as aspirin for reducing pain and inflammation (but not fever), and at a much lower dose. Flax Seed: Flax seeds have natural anti-inflammatory benefits. The Omega-3 fatty acids found in flax seeds are used by the body to produce Series 1 and 3 prostaglandins, which essentially act as anti-inflammatory hormone-like molecules. Series 2 prostaglandins are pro-inflammatory molecules that are found in abundant amounts in animal fats, margarine, and various vegetable oils including corn, sunflower, and peanut oils. Serious illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis are considered autoimmune diseases, as the body attacks itself. The result is that the joints become swollen and inflamed, and the blood vessels become severely compromised. Research has proven that a natural approach to treating rheumatoid arthritis through diet can be exceptionally helpful and well-tolerated by individuals who have not responded well to conventional medications and/or treatments. The Omega-3 fatty acids in flax seeds are the key to cleaning out the blood vessels in the body and supporting optimal joint health. Cetyl Myristoleate: Clinical experience suggests that Cetyl Myristoleate acts as an anti-inflammatory, as well as a surfactant and lubricant for damaged joints. Basically, it makes them more "slippery." This substance holds the promise of being the most effective solution to joint problems of any product ever introduced into the market. It is not habit-forming and contains no harsh chemicals or drugs that can cause side effects. It works in a natural manner by acting at the site of inflammation, is highly resistant to oxidation, it has a relatively long life in the body. It has been been used in connection with Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, Reiter's syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, psoriasis, and various types of back pain. Shark Cartilage: In addition to its natural content of chondroitin and glucosamine, shark cartilage displays some amazing properties that go beyong those of refined mucopolysaccharides. Research demonstrates shark cartilage to be a powerful and non-toxic anti-inflammatory. Of particular interest to those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis is the potential effect of shark cartilage strengthening the immune system. Alfalfa: Helps keep the joints healthy and contains many trace minerals because of its unusually deep root system. It has an alkalizing effect to help adjust the body's pH, and promotes mineral/vitamin absorption because of its balanced nutrient content. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid): Helps maintain the body’s collagen for healthy connective tissue formation. Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol): Essential for Calcium absorption and utilization.
