About this product

• Quitapine is an antipsychotic, it binds to certain receptors in the brain and affects its work, including: dopamine-4 receptors, histamine-1 receptors, serotonin receptors
• Quitapine has a lower incidence of extrapyramidal side effects than other treatments
• Quitapine is produced in two pharmaceutical forms, immediate oral tablets, which enter the bloodstream immediately, and extended-release tablets, which are slowly released into the bloodstream over time.
• Both forms have the same medical uses, and the extended-release tablets are more than used to treat severe depression along with antidepressant medications.

Dosage and method of use:

• The dose is determined according to the doctor’s instructions, and according to age, weight, and medical condition, but it is usually a tablet before bedtime in the evening.
