About this product

Primperan is a medicine that relieves symptoms of nausea, vomiting, heartburn and a feeling of fullness.

Dosage and method of use:

• The injection can be given intravenously or intramuscularly.

For children aged 1-18 years:

• The recommended dose is 0.1 to 0.15 mg/one kg of body weight, repeated up to three times daily intravenously.
• The maximum dose in 24 hours is 0.5 mg / one kg of body weight.

For adults:

• A single dose of 10 mg is recommended (one injection of Primperan).
• “The maximum daily dose is 30 mg (i.e. 3 ampoules of Primperan).”

Indications:

Primperan is used to treat the following conditions:

For adults:

• It is used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.
• Prevent nausea caused by radiotherapy.
• To prevent nausea and vomiting caused by migraines, metoclopramide can be taken with oral analgesics to work effectively.

For children:

• Primperan 10 mg is used in children 1 to 18 years of age to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy if other medicines have not worked.
