• Natrilix SR for the treatment of high blood pressure, Natrilix SR belongs to a group of diuretics that prevent the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the body, which helps to rid the body of fluids and lowers blood pressure.

Dosage and method of use:

• The usual adult dose for the treatment of high blood pressure: starting with a dose of 1.25 mg once daily, and the dose can be increased after 4 weeks to reach 5 mg daily and increase every month at a rate of 2.5 mg to reach the end of the month to 5 mg.
• The usual dose for the treatment of edema: starts with a dose of 2.5 mg orally and can be increased weekly to reach 5 mg according to the health condition.
• It is recommended to take the dose every morning.
• Dosage is adjusted for the elderly and patients with kidney and liver.
• The periodicity of salts and minerals in the body must be monitored, especially for the elderly who take a high dose.

Indications:

• Treating mild and moderate high blood pressure.
• Treatment of fluid retention in the body (edema) due to congestive heart failure nephrotic syndrome.
