The novel Half Dead, Buried Alive is a novel written by writer and novelist Hassan El-Gendy, in which it deals with many topics and issues that occur in Egyptian society, such as issues of corruption, road accidents, and others, in which many innocent people fall victim, and the authorities and the government do not mention how many real victims there are. [1] The writer also deals in the novel with issues such as selling human organs, lack of conscience and morals, doing actions that contradict common human instinct, such as violating the bodies of the dead and not appreciating the sanctity of death, and the strange mental illnesses that some suffer from and others, and the writer presents all these events in An interesting context that belongs to horror and thriller literature.[1]
