• Bistol tablets are used to treat high blood pressure, antianginal, and the active substance contained in this medicine is bisoprolol fumarate, which is among the medicines called beta-blockers that help protect the heart from any activity in excess of the required limit. The heart is in a state of weakening of the heart muscle in the ability to pump blood regularly, which may cause unwanted effects.

Dosage and method of use:

• Adults: When used for high blood pressure or chest pain, the dose is one tablet daily or 25 mg.
• In case of kidney disease: the maximum dose is 10 mg per day.
• In the case of liver patients: the dose is 10 mg per day.
• In case of heart failure: the dose does not exceed 10 mg daily for up to a week.
• Children: It is not recommended to use a Bistol for them.
• Elderly: Treatment may be started with a low dose at first.

Indications:

• Treating high blood pressure.
• Anti-angina pectoris, which occurs as a result of blockage of the arteries of the heart.
• Heart disease and myocardial strengthening and failure.
