About this product

• Betaserc for the treatment of dizziness, vertigo and circulatory disorders. The drug contains the active substance betahistine. It has a weak histamine-like effect on its receptors and a significant antihistamine effect on the H3 receptors in the central and autonomic nervous systems. Therefore, Betaserc is used to treat dizziness and vertigo and treat tinnitus.

Dosage and method of use:

• The tablets should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid (such as one glass of water).
• Take the tablet with or after a meal.

Adult dose:

• 24 mg tablets.
• Tablet twice a day.
• This medicine should not be given to children under 18 years of age.
• Warning: It is preferable that the dosage be determined by a specialist doctor or pharmacist.

Indications:

• It is used as a treatment for Meniere's syndrome, a condition due to excessive fluid pressure in the inner ear.
• Betahistine dihydrochloride is believed to work by improving blood flow in the inner ear, reducing pressure buildup.
• Ear pressure is believed to be what causes the vertigo (dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hearing loss experienced by people with Meniere's disease.

Meniere's disease - signs include:

• Feeling dizzy (vertigo) and feeling sick (nausea or vomiting).
• Ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
• Hearing loss or difficulty hearing.
• Dizzy feeling - occurs when the part of the inner ear that controls your balance isn't working properly (called "vestibular vertigo").
