The events of the novel revolve around a young man named Mazen who enters with his parents, who is in a state of strong nervous and psychological shock and does not speak, to the clinic of Dr. Safwat, who is a doctor who is forty-five years old and not married. He was devoted to treating psychological cases and getting them to safety. They told Dr. Safwat that Mazen does not speak and refuses to eat. Since he returned from his trip, Mazen’s father had a booklet in his possession. He told Dr. Safwat that this booklet was Mazen’s private diary, and he used to record everything in it. Perhaps it would help Dr. Safwat understand his condition, and Dr. Safwat decided that Mazen be transferred to one of the treatment centers that he supervises, and that Mazen stay there. Because there are possibilities there that help in treating his condition, curiosity takes Dr. Safwat to read Mazen’s private diaries and perhaps help in understanding his condition, in which Mazen used to write everything down since he was young, and in which he finds strange and strange events and things on the Island of Oblivion, which Mazen went to, and from the beginning, Mazen lives with his father.
