Ping Tour Gorge Wedge is made from 17-4 stainless steel in a traditional head shape which is pleasing to all golfers from tour standard to a high handicapped amateur. The face has got milled grooves which have been precision milled to the absolute limit within the rules of the R and A to give you the maximum spin possible and help you hit your approach shots closer.The Gorge wedge comes in 3 different sole options;The wide sole which is great for soft conditions or when you are in a bunker as the wider sole won't dig into the ground as much and be more forgiving on fat shots.The standard sole plays like a normal wedge performing pretty well from all varieties of lies and positions helping you to get the best of both worlds between thin and wide soles.The thin sole is great from firm lies and tight lies as it allows you to pick the ball off the top of the ground better.
