Support 2.4GHz and 5GHz at the same time There are several advantages to using both bands. Ideal distribution method: - 2.4GHz: web browsing, file downloads, emails, etc. - 5GHz: Online gaming, HD and FullHD video streaming, especially applications where latency is important. The 2.4GHz band is also very noisy in larger buildings or prefabricated houses, and so performance degradation to a lower level, so WiFi routers from the environment interfere with each other. When using 5GHz, you do not have to worry about this. Signal coverage is provided by four 6 dBi antennas. It is also possible to use the signal repeat mode in WISP or Universal Repeater mode. It includes setting the signal strength for each frequency separately.

IPv6 and QoS The router is fully compatible with the latest version of the Internet IPv6 protocol. Thanks to this, it is possible to use other services of your Internet provider, and the router is fully IPv6 ready for data transmission and web browsing in the future. SMART Application "Tenda WiFi" Application for Smart mobile phones "Tenda WiFi", thanks to which you can control some functions of the router, perform measurements and allow eg WiFi for a visit. WiFi for visiting (Guest Network) The router supports network settings for visiting the Guest Network, both for 2.4 GHz WiFi and also for 5 GHz. This setting is included not only in the web interface but mainly in the Tenda WiFi application.

SMART Power & LED It is also possible to set the LEDs on the device, either leave it on or off or set a timer.

Security and DDNS AC8 supports great security options. Latest WPA, WPA2, mixedWPA/WPA2 always with PSK andTKIP or AES encryption. This offer is additionally supplemented by WPS. The WPS system allows connection by pressing a button on the router and the client station, so the router automatically sets up a connection secured with WPA2-PSK and it is not necessary to know the password to the WiFi network. This method is not only quick and easy, but also safe. The router also has the option of setting up DDNS for no-ip.com, 3322.org, dyndns.org.
