Internal frame AXAGON RSS-CD09 intended for mounting instead of the existing CD/DVD drive with a height of 9.5 mm . It is designed for 2.5" SSD/HDD SATA drives . You can easily replace the optical drive in your laptop with a hard drive. The SATA 6G interface allows you to enjoy the speed of modern SSD disks up to 6Gb/s . Thanks to the absence of complex electronics, it does not slow down data transfer speed and supports all modern functions, such as TRIM. This reduction ensures wide compatibility with different brands of notebooks. The ODD frame can be set with a double switch so that it will work with most laptops from LENOVO, HP, DELL, ASUS, ACER, SONY, TOSHIBA and others. In the frame, it is possible to use standard SSD disks with a height of 7 mm and hard disks with a height of 9.5 mm with a size of 2.5". 2.5" disk that can be used to supplement the existing disk in the notebook. Thanks to boot support , an older laptop can be significantly accelerated by adding a 2.5" SSD drive. The unique screwless disc attachment system is secured by means of a rubber clip or by means of rubber threaded inserts. Rubber pads also help minimize hard drive vibration . Metal springs help fix the adapter in the optical drive bay. The metal body of the frame is made of aluminum and thus ensures perfect mechanical protection of the inserted disc . The built-in HQ capacitor helps stabilize the SSD/HDD power supply . An elegant, built-in LED indicates disk insertion and data transfer. The package also includes a plastic face (cover) imitating the face of an optical CD/DVD drive. On the back of the reducer there are several mounting holes for securing the frame in the notebook body.
