The multi-port USB-C 5Gbps TRIPLE 4K DISPLAY hub AXAGON HMC-4KX3 expands your notebook with nine ports and an SD/microSD memory card reader. Via the double-sided USB-C connector, you can easily and quickly connect up to three monitors, three USB devices, a Gigabit Ethernet network, headphones and a card reader to the computer at the same time. At the same time, you get the option of powering the laptop using Power Delivery technology. The USB-C hub thus fulfills the function of a universal and powerful 11-in-1 docking station for modern laptops . The USB hub offers three USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors. The hub can handle the permanent connection of several external drives at the same time. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, the transfer speed of the hub is up to 5Gb/s. The hub also allows you to charge phones and tablets with a current of up to 1.5A/5V, so you can easily charge e.g. an Android smartphone, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, etc. from the hub. The USB-C connector is reserved only for powering and simultaneous charging of laptops using Power Delivery 3.0 technology with a power of up to 100W . You plug the USB-C Power Delivery charger into the hub and connect the hub to the laptop. This also frees up one USB-C port. The prerequisite is a laptop with support for charging from the USB-C port using Power Delivery and a suitable PD charger. Each of the three video outputs (2x HDMI + 1x DisplayPort) provides a high-quality image up to 4K/60Hz Ultra HD resolution. High frequencies are also supported in popular gamer resolutions 2K/144Hz or FullHD/240Hz . Even when three monitors are connected at the same time, the docking station can provide a resolution of up to 4K/30Hz on each of them . Thanks to HDR (high dynamic range) support, you can enjoy a significantly expanded range of colors and contrasts without restrictions. For the video output to work properly, it is necessary that the USB-C port of the laptop supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) or Thunderbolt 3/4. Support for the above maximum supported resolutions and frequencies requires connection to a computer with DisplayPort version 1.4. The gigabit network card expands the computer with a fast and stable network connection, complements the missing network RJ-45 Ethernet connector, or adds another network card. The card reader supports all versions of SD and microSD cards, including SDXC and microSDXC with a capacity of up to 2TB. High transfer speeds are ensured by the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. Card reader enables simultaneous work with cards in both slots and direct copying between them. The robust aluminum body ensures mechanical resistance and high-quality cooling of the docking station. The wedge shape of the hub encourages its use as a laptop pad for its better cooling and ergonomic position . The included USB-C cable is also designed to use the hub as a laptop pad, the optimal length of 40 cm together with the curved connector allows it to be almost completely hidden under the laptop and thus contribute to the impression of a clean desk. The USB-C cable is detachable and can therefore be replaced with a longer cable if necessary. Thanks to the Plug and Play and Hot Plug functions, connecting the hub itself is very simple without complicated installation, and peripherals can also be easily connected and disconnected while the computer is running.
