The Corsair AX1500i Digital 1500W 80 Plus Titanium Modular Power Supply delivers a total of 1500W of continuous power to all the internal components in high-end desktops and workstations. It lets you power up twelve molex and twenty SATA drives as well as ten PCI cards. For motherboards, it is built to support Intel ATX12V version 2.4 and comes with two EPS connectors along with an ATX connector. There are also two connectors for floppy drives. Furthermore, the PSU is certified with an 80 Plus Titanium specification that lowers your operating costs and sports a DSP-based design for increased efficiency and tighter voltage regulation.
The low-profile cables are fully modular so you can use only the cables you need. Using the minimum amount of cables helps improve the system's cooling solution. To cool the PSU, a 140mm fan is onboard and is thermally controlled via Corsair Link integration. This fan features a fluid-dynamic bearing for quiet and reliable operations and can be set to stop running under low or medium loads. When connected to the motherboard's USB header, Corsair Link integration monitors the PSU's power input, power output, efficiency, and internal temperature in real time. You can also customize the fan speed response as well as set up the AX1500i to operate as a single-rail power supply or with multiple virtual rails.
1500W of Continuous Power
If you are looking to build an ultra high-end performance system or pushing for high overclocking, 1200 watts of power might not be enough. The AX1500i reliably delivers 1500W of continuous—not peak—power on demand. And, you don't need any special household wiring to make it happen. You'll get 1500 watts of clean, stable power even on 115V, 15A circuits.
Digitally Controlled
The AX1500i is designed around a DSP for increased efficiency, tighter voltage regulation, and electrical specifications. The elegant, DSP-based design reduces internal component count and allows for better control of electrical ripple and noise.
80 Plus Titanium
The AX1500i provides energy efficiency and generates less heat.
Zero RPM Fan Mode
During regular load, no active cooling is required and the built-in fan will not spin. When you're pushing the PSU hard, the thermally controlled fan adjusts its speed to match demand. The custom-designed fan has a diameter of 140mm and produces low noise even at full load. Furthermore, it uses a fluid dynamic bearing for a quiet, reliable operation.
Corsair Link
Connect the AX1500i to a motherboard USB header with the included cable, and you can use Corsair Link to monitor power input, power output, efficiency, and internal temperature in real time. You can customize fan speed response and set up the AX1500i power supply to operate as a single-rail or multiple virtual rails with customizable OCP points.
Fully Modular, Low-Profile Cables
The AX1500i is fully modular, which means that there are no permanently attached cables. This simplifies installation and allows you to use only the cables you need for a neat and clean build. This can also improve performance because fewer cables in your system can reduce airflow obstruction.
