* Clindasol (Clindamycin) 0.3 gm / 30 ml Topical Solution. For Treatment of Acne.
* Composition: each 1 ml contains:
Clindamycin phosphate 12 mg equivalent to Clindamycin 10 mg.
* Indications:
Indicated in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
* Dosage and Administration:
Apply a thin film of Solution twice daily to affected area.
* Warning:
Topical application of Clindamycin results in absorption of the antibiotic from the skin surface and cause
diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, colitis.
* Contraindications:
Contraindicated in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to preparations containing Clindamycin and
Lincomycin, a history of regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis, or a history of antibiotic-associated colitis.
* Precautions:
- In the event of accidental contact with sensitive surfaces (eye, abraded skin, mucous membranes), bathe with
copious amounts of cool tap water.
- The solution has unpleasant taste and caution should be exercised when applying medication around the mouth.
* Pregnancy:
Teratogenic effects-Pregnancy Category B.
* Pediatric use:
Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients under the age of 12 years have not been established.
* For external (topical) use only.
* Store at temperature not exceeding 30 degree C.
