A CD-RW disc is a rewritable disc that provides a capacity of 700 MB. In accordance with the Orange Book specifications, Part III, version 2. 12x and 24x CD-RW discs will not work in slower drives. CD-Rewritable refers to discs that can be used more than once and whose contents can be erased and rewritten. Verbatim CD-RW discs can be overwritten at least 1,000 times.
