Function The TR-004U USB 3.0 RAID Expansion Unit enables the expansion of the QNAP NAS and computer storage capacity. The TR-004U can also be used as a Direct Attached Storage (DAS) device, allowing direct access to content via USB connection. The TR-004U includes four 3.5 "SATA drives with multiple RAID configurations and USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity for a highly reliable and secure storage expansion solution.

The TR-004U supports a variety of RAID configurations. Depending on your requirements, you can switch between hardware and software controlled RAID modes. Move the DIP switch to the appropriate position for the ideal RAID mode: Standalone, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1/10, or RAID 5. You can configure RAID settings directly from QNAP NAS or using the external RAID management tool on your computer.
