Product Description
Crawlers Take Flight with Walking Wings
When your baby is first learning to walk, there are can be tumbles,
tears, and even boo-boos. UpSpring’s Walking Wings learning to walk
assistant helps your baby balance naturally with their hands free. They
will take fewer tumbles, which will help to build their confidence (and
yours, too!) as they take those first steps.
Walking Wings soft, padded support vest securely fastens around baby’s
chest. Straps in front and back of the vest provide stability. The
straps adjust easily to your reach so you can stand upright and take the
strain off your back. (Whew!) And because you’ve got better things to
do than take the entire assembly on and off all day long, the straps
detach from the vest easily.
As a
parent, you will experience many “firsts” with your little one, but one
of the most memorable of those will be baby’s first steps.
When to begin using Walking Wings.
Walking Wings is recommended during the two stages that progress as
baby starts to balance and becomes more stable on his feet.
Stage 1: 6 to 8 months. Baby starts pulling up. Baby is learning to balance hands free. Baby is grabbing onto objects for support.
Stage 2: 8+ months. Balance and stability is improving. Baby is showing a desire to walk and explore
One Small Step For Baby, One Giant Leap For Parents with Walking Wings
Walking Wings supports your child while keeping their arms and hands
free. This means they can use them naturally for balance while learning
to walk.
It also means you can stand
up naturally and still help your little one to walk. Win-win for your
little walker and her walking buddy (that’s you)!
Your little one will need lots of practice – about 1,000 hours before they are a skilled walker.

When you hold your child’s hand to help them walk, you can disturb
their natural sense of balance. This can throw off baby's gait.
The inadvertent traction on your baby’s arm may also cause a painful but non-life threatening injury: nursemaid’s elbow.
Reaching down to hold your child’s hand as they learn to walk can do
you an injury, too. All that hunching over can lead to an aching back!
Ditch the back ache and enjoy spending more time with your little one in Walking Wings.
Before your baby can walk...
- They need to have good balance.
- They should be able to bear their own weight, unassisted.
