In the previous article, we presented the most important factors that you should keep in mind when making a comparison between Canon and Nikon cameras. In this article, we will present a list of the most widespread Nikon and Canon’s cameras along with their specifications.

Canon 1200D

Canon 1200D is considered one of the lightest and smallest DSLR cameras. It is designed for the beginners in professional photography. That is why it is provided with a suitable price for limited budgets. It offers a professional photography experience with very good features and an affordable price. However, it is not suitable for hard-uses that require sophisticated features, such as shooting events, conferences, or sports photography.

Nikon D3200

Nikon Company is providing Nikon D3200 for beginners in professional photography. It is known as a friendly-beginners camera due to its advanced specifications.

Although its price is slightly higher than Canon 1200D, Nikon D3200 has special features that makes it much better for beginners. It has the Guide Mode to help adjust the camera settings, higher megapixels (24), and a Wi-Fi adapter to transfer photos from the camera.

Canon 700D

If you see that your level of photography is higher than the beginner level, yet you are not a professional, then Canon 700D is your best choice. You may notice that the main specifications of this camera are similar to the Canon 1200D camera and you may also ask yourself if there is a difference between them.

This camera consists of a great accuracy screen display with 1,040,000 points. That is in addition to its moving touch screen, which makes it easier to adjust settings and camera control. It also has many filters and effects that can be applied to images during and after the capture.

Canon 750D is considered a more advanced model than the previous version, and it has several other features. Most importantly, the increased number of auto-focus points from 9 to 19 points and the significantly increase in the focus speed due to the development of its technology from the previous version. There is also an increase in the number of megapixels and sensor sensitivity, besides the presence of a faster processor.

Canon 70D

Professional photography starts with this camera, especially it has the same basic features of the previous cameras. Yet, because it is a professional camera, it has more advantages:

  • There is a top screen that shows the current shooting settings, this feature enables you to review the image settings quickly before taking the picture.
  • The camera’s external body is resistant to rain and dust, making the camera works in the most difficult conditions.

Nikon D610

Nikon D610 is considered the first camera in the category of real professional cameras that contains full-frame sensor with two memory cards ports.

The camera was released in 2013, so you may find its capabilities are less than the later camera versions that were released in 2016 and 2015. It is considered a good choice for anyone who wants to buy a full-frame camera at an affordable price. That is as the latest versions of this category, such as Nikon D750 or Nikon D800, are rare and expensive.
