Huawei P8 is a great competitor in 2015 by the Chinese corporation to the big trademarks like Samsung and Apple. The design is very tempting with fascinating specifications and high manufacturing quality, powerful processor and a rear camera of high quality and creative features. It is of a much lower price than iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 and also cheaper than HTC One M9. So, if you were looking for something different and of exquisite specifications and average price, Yaoota is proposing this phone as a proper alternative.

We will first mention the pros and cons of Huawei P8 and then we will review it in details.

Design and other features

  • The design of Huawei P8 is very elegant with some nice touches that have set it apart from its competitors, including that rectangular glass at the back where the camera is, and also its curved edges.
  • The front is free of the trademark and there is no Home button or anything else.
  • As for the buttons, for example, you can press the volume-down button twice to open the camera when the phone is locked, which is a good feature! And that task would have been easier, if the power button was larger or a little bigger or even on the other side of the phone.
  • Huawei P8 is heavier than the iPhone 6 and the Samsung S6, and is thinner but its weight is still good.
  • Supports 4G connection.
  • Supports dual-SIM.

  • 5.2  inches, Full-HD, and big enough for a good display.
  • Resolution 1080 * 1920 pixels, IPS.
  • The screen is bright and very good for use in all circumstances of lighting and sharp viewing angles.
  • Huawei P8 is protected with corning gorilla glass 3, scratch resistant.

Performance

  • Powerful processor of Octa-core processor; Quad-core 2.0 GHz and Quad-core 1.5 GHz.
  • 3 GB RAM, which is enough for performing tasks and running applications without worrying.
  • Although the user interface is somehow heavy, yet the performance is fast and good.
  • As for the common tasks, internet browsing or even playing games, you won’t have any problems.
  • It rarely happens that the performance slows down with this processor.
  • The Huawei P8’s operating system is 5.0.2 (Lollipop).
  • The internal storage is either 16 GB or 64 GB, expandable with external storage up to 128 GB.

  • Huawei P8‘s battery is a bit bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge‘s battery but it’s less than the higher version, Huawei P8 Max with the huge battery of 4360 mAh.
