internal protecting circuit :   protecting circuit is to prevent over discharging and that may damage the battery cells. If you have chosen a power bank without over discharging protection, your battery cell might die earlier than the one with discharging protection.

Overcurrent Protection :  If the current is over the protection range while charging or discharging the power bank, the cell Overcurent Protection will terminate the charging or discharging immediately so that it can avoid any catastrophic consequences from happening.

USB output port overcurrent protection : If the USB port current is over the protection range while charging the power bank, the cell overcurent protection will terminate the charging immediately so that it won’t shorten the battery’s lifespan or damage your smart phone / tablet.

Offers the most reliable product quality :  As long as you choose the battery cells with a brand name, its product quality should be reliable. Currently in the market, the major 18650 type Li-ion batteries manufacturers are from Japan, Korea and China. Usually battery cells from Japan have the best quality, and Korean battery cells are better than those made in China. However, battery cost is the other way around. Battery cells from China are the cheapest, and Japanese battery cells are the most expensive. So for battery pack makers, some want to balance cost and quality, they will choose battery cells made in Korea. However, Some Chinese manufacturers have good quality like Ultra Fire. It is much better than those non-branded batteries. Anyway, there are many fake ones in the market, so you have to be extra careful when purchasing.

 Actual capacity of theLi-ion batteries : The actual capacity of a single battery cell can be checked with some professional measuring equipment. Usually it can be checked by running charging /discharging cycles. But this kind of test is unable to be done by normal users. For normal users, it would be better to purchase battery cells with big brand names so you can have a correct marked one. Japanese and Korean makers usually mark their capacity lower than actual capacity. But Chinese makers, they like to bluff. Usually the actually capacity is only 60% of capacity marked.
