Unlike conventional volumizing sprays out there, this one does not make your hair appear stiff and hard. I like to think of it as a cross between hair care + styling product. You're supposed to spray this only on the root of your hair before blow-drying. I obediently followed the results as part of my hair-care regimen, and must say that there is difference, albeit very subtle. It only prevents the hair from falling flat, and the effect is somehow subtle. Therefore, if you have extremely oily scalp OR thin, I am not confident to say that this product would work for you.For more obvious volumizing effects, this product will probably work well in conjunction with other styling products. But, this fits the bill for me because I am just looking for that extra omph for my hair.
