• Simvastatin is a cholesterol-lowering medication that belongs to the statin class of drugs. Statins lower cholesterol levels in the blood by blocking 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A(HMG-CoA) reductase, an enzyme that's needed for the liver to produce cholesterol.
• Decreased hepatic cholesterol concentrations stimulate the upregulation of hepatic low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptors, which increases hepatic uptake of LDL & decreases LDL level in the blood.
• Ezetimibe is a potent and selective inhibitor of cholesterol absorption that has been shown to reduce the overall delivery of cholesterol to the liver, thereby promoting the synthesis of LDL receptors, with a subsequent reduction of serum LDL

Method Of Administration Of Inegy 10/20 Tablets

• Adults: The dose is 1 tablet by mouth once a day.

• Take in the evening. You can take it with or without food.
