Neema is all set to represent her school at the Drama Festivals, but her teacher feels she is too dark and needs to lighten her skin to be noticed. Dejected, she seeks solace in the company of Baraka, a physically challenged boy who has been the butt of the school bully, Amin. She finds Baraka very talented in playing the piano. The two form a partnership that finally defeats the bully and also brings home trophies from the festival.
