HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 10 ON THE LAPTOP

1. Download the latest windows 10 ISO image from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
2. Create a bootable flash drive preferably using Rufus software from https://rufus.ie/en/
3. Download Intel VMD drivers the zipped file from https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19512/intel-rapid-storage-technology-driver-installation-software-with-intel-optane-memory-10th-and-11th-gen-platforms.html
4. Extract the zipped file into a folder named automatically as F6flpy-x64 - VMD
5. Save the F6flpy-x64 - VMD folder to your USB bootable disk and start the installation process
6. At the stage where you are supposed to see the Hard drive , if you don't find it, click on load drivers then browse to your bootable USB drive and select the F6flpy-x64 - VMD folder on the side then a subfolder with a similar name will appear, select it.
7. Click on next and your Hard drive will appear and then proceed with the rest of installation process.
8. After installation go to the Lenovo website and download the device drivers from there. Alternatively connect the device to the internet and allow windows update service to update the drivers automatically.
9. If the touchpad does not work, Go to lenovo drivers website and download SIO drivers under the Chipsets group. Run the drivers and you will be good to go.
