About this product

Vaxato consists of the active substance (rivaroxaban), which is one of the medicines that works as an anti-blood clot, and the way the medicine works is that it works to impede the work of some elements (proteins) in the blood and these elements are responsible for the occurrence of blood clotting and thus increase the fluidity of the blood.

    Dosage and method of use:

    •  One tablet only once a day, or as directed by the doctor, and the tablet is taken during dinner.

    Indications:

    • Treating blood clots, such as deep vein thrombosis or clots in the lung and pulmonary embolism, and preventing blood clots from forming again.
    • Treating or preventing blood clots or pulmonary embolism after hip or knee replacement surgery.
    • Preventing the risk of strokes caused by blood clots in patients with atrial fibrillation and irregular heartbeats or for people with peripheral arterial disease and poor blood circulation in the blood vessels in both arms and legs.
