* IMPORTANT NOTICE: - Similac Gain Advance is not a substitute for breast milk. - Similac Gain Advance is specially formulated to complement solid food in providing a nutritional diet, for babies from 6 months onward. - Similac Gain Advance contains LCPs, a combination of AA & DHA (long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids), in addition to taurine, choline and other nutrients which are naturally present in breast milk. - Similac Gain Advance also contains nucleotides as well as vegetable fat blend, free of palm olein oil. - Infants over 6 months of age should gradually receive supplemental food in addition to Similac Gain Advance.

* DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE: - Use as directed by your doctor or health advisor. - Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula. - Powder infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by the doctor. - Use only the enclosed scoop. - Always add one level scoop of powder to each 60 ml of lukewarm previously boiled water, mix well and feed immediately. - If you prepare more than one feeding, it must be refrigerated at 2-4 degrees C and used within 24 hours. Once feeding begins, use within one hour or discard.

* NOTE: Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm.

* SUGGESTED FEEDING SCHEDULE: - Age of Child (6-12 months): To Prepare One Feeding (180 ml Water + 3 Scoops) = 4 Feedings per Day. - Age of Child (over 12 months): To Prepare One Feeding (240 ml Water + 4 Scoops) = 3 Feedings per Day.

* Daily consumption of at least 500 ml of Similac Gain Advance is recommended.

* STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: - Store unopened tin under normal room conditions. (Not to exceed 25 degrees C). - Once this tin is opened, contents should be used within three weeks. - Cover opened tin and store in cool, dry place (but not in refrigerator).

* WARNING: Never use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula. Serious burns can result.

* PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Thoroughly wash cup or feeding bottle, nipple, cap and all utensils and boil them for five minutes. 2. Boil drinking water to a full rolling boil for five minutes and allow to cool to lukewarm (37 degrees C). 3. Pour the exact amount of lukewarm water into the sterilized feeding container (cup or bottle). 4. Add one level scoop of powder for each 60 ml of water in feeding container. 5. Stir or shake bottle until powder is completely dissolved. 6. Feed your baby. Throw away any unused formula within one hour.
