* IMPORTANT NOTICE: - Breast milk is best for infants and is recommended for as long as possible during infancy. - If breast feeding is not adopted, SIMILAC ADVANCE is formulated for infant feeding from birth and may be specified by your physician. Infants over 6 months should after consultation with your medical advisor, gradually receive food in addition to this formula. - SIMILAC ADVANCE with LCPs, contains AA & DHA (long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids), in addition to taurine, choline and other nutrients which are naturally present in breast milk. SIMILAC ADVANCE with LCPs also contains nucleotides as well as vegetable fat blend, free of palm olein oil.

* DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE: - Use as directed by your doctor or health advisor. - Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula. - Powder infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by the doctor. - Use only the enclosed scoop. - Always add one level scoop of powder to each 60ml of lukewarm previously boiled water, mix well and feed immediately. - If you prepare more than one feeding, it must be refrigerated at 2-4 degrees C and used within 24 hours. Once feeding begins, use within one hour or discard.

* SUGGESTED FEEDING SCHEDULE: - Approximate Age of Baby (1 month): 120 mL Warm (Previously Boiled Water) + 2 Level Scoops = 6 Feedings per 24 hours. - Approximate Age of Baby (2 months): 180 mL Warm (Previously Boiled Water) + 3 Level Scoops = 6 Feedings per 24 hours. - Approximate Age of Baby (4 months): 240 mL Warm (Previously Boiled Water) + 4 Level Scoops = 5 Feedings per 24 hours. - Approximate Age of Baby (6 months): 240 mL Warm (Previously Boiled Water) + 4 Level Scoops = 5 Feedings per 24 hours.

* NOTE: Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm.

* STORAGE: - Store unopened tin under normal room conditions. (Not to exceed 25 degrees C). - Once this tin is opened, contents should be used within three weeks. - Cover opened tin and store in cool, dry place (not to refrigerate).

* WARNING: Never use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula. Serious burns can result.

* PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Thoroughly wash feeding bottle, nipple, cap and all utensils and boil them for five minutes. 2. Boil drinking water to a full rolling boil for five minutes and allow to cool to lukewarm (37 degrees C). 3. Pour the exact amount of lukewarm water into the sterilized feeding bottle. 4. Add one level scoop of powder for each 60 ml of water in bottle. 5. Cap bottle and shake gently until powder is completely dissolved. 6. Feed your baby. Throw away any unused formula (within one hour).
