We wanted to create a decorative lantern with a modern, playful feel. We began asking ourselves what really makes a lantern, and tried to come up with a new answer to the question. Inspiration came from bird cages, architecture, and a variety of shadow patterns, that all give the lantern an extra dimension. One of the details we’re happy with is the little window, just underneath the roof. This lantern fits right into most places – window, balcony, or greenhouse – and sets the mood in all different kinds of homes.
