Klacid is used in acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and acute maxillary sinusitis

Indications:

•  Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
•  Acute maxillary sinusitis
•  fungal infection;
•  peptic ulcer;
•  Pharyngitis or tonsillitis.
•  Oropharyngeal infections caused by streptococcus bacteria.
•  Community acquired pneumonia.
•  Whooping cough.
•  skin infections;
•  Prevention of endocarditis.
•  It may also be used in some cases as an alternative to penicillin in patients with penicillin allergy in the treatment of a number of conditions, such as the prevention of bacterial endocarditis in some high-risk cases or others.
