Givenchy is a French fashion, accessories and perfume brand, founded by Count Hubert de Givenchy in 1952. The house established a reputation for its unique blend of French elegance and American glamour, embodied particularly in the look of actress Audrey Hepburn. Parfums Givenchy was founded in 1957, and their first fragrance was L'Interdit, again inspired by their most famous client, Audrey Hepburn. Their first men's scent, Monsieur de Givenchy, was launched in 1959. The brand's success continues into the 21st century and crosses all segments of the market. They continue to produce their beloved classic perfumes such as Amarige and Xeryus.
Like Haute Couture fashion, Hot Couture is a glamorous yet sophisticated fragrance. Hot Couture is for unique, vibrant and fun loving women in tune with fashion and trends. It embodies the spontaneous spirit of Givenchy couture–original, provocative and full of charisma. The Eau de Toilette is luminous, sparkling and airy for everyday use.
The composition is signed by Alberto Morillas and Jacques Cavallier. It opens with bergamot and lemon, followed by raspberry, strawberry, apple, spices, rose and tuberose. Base notes are vetiver, amber and white musk.
