PURE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ENZYME.   For Intramuscular (I.M.) injection.   N.B.: katal: Unit of catalytic activity equal to 1 mol of product formed (or substrate consumed) per second. * PRESENTATION and FORMULA:   - 3 ampoules of active product: each ampoule contains: 5 milligrams (450 E.A. Units) of crystallized and lyophilised injectable Chymotrypsin.   - 3 ampoules Solvent of: 3 ml Apyrogenic saline (Sodium chloride, Isotonic solution for injection). * Indications: All inflammatory conditions: postoperative and post traumatic edemas and hematomas. * Warnings:   - A sensitivity test should be made before injection.   - Chymotrypsin is generally well tolerated, however, it may rarely induce allergic troubles in some patients,   which necessitates the discontinuation of the medication and treatment (as any other allergic reaction) with   beta-adrenergic stimulant, corticosteroid, and antihistaminic. * Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, protected from moisture. * Manufactured by: Leurquin - France.
