Equality for Women tracks various countries progress with implementing and financing the third World Bank Millennium Development Goal (MDG3) by examining national experiences and successes with policies and programs. It provides the most recent analysis of the world s progress to date in achieving MDG3 using the expanded set of indicators, charts countries progress over time, benchmarks country performance against regional trends, as well as contributes the first estimation of the minimum amount of financial resources required to achieve MDG3 by identifying the costs of interventions aimed at promoting gender equality and women s empowerment across sectors.
