The surveillance system ctOS 2.0, built for the security of the city, is now a brooding ground for corporates wanting to exploit the system and gain access to the digital private worlds of all the people. You as a hacker, along with DedSec, a hacktivist group, have to expose ctOS and give back the fundamental right of privacy to the people. While in the game, you can choose to hack everyone, every device running ctOS and play with tools like a remote controlled car, drones, and 3D printed weapons.

Watch Dogs 2 Ubisoft has single player and multiplayer modes. In SP, you can select from many different approaches. These include the stealth style, in which you can stealthily evade the enemies or temporarily suppress them using a taser. Or you can go all out with an aggressive style, attacking the enemies with guns, mines, and the thunderball. There is also an option to complete the gameplay with only hacking; here you work your way up but risk alerting the police if you commit too many crimes in the open world. Depending on which category you choose, you can select from inventories Ghost, Aggressor, and Trickster.
