A very popular LAN tester for technicians. The tester repeatedly tests individual wires and helps you detect broken cables, short circuits, crossed wires or other problems on the power line. The tester is suitable for networks with STP/UTP RJ45 and RJ11 connectors Cat5, Cat5E, Cat6, Cat7. Detachable external unit, facilitates network fault detection in the building.

Example of use: We have a broken wire No. 3. We connect both RJ45 connectors to the tester, the first connector to the main part, the second connector to the external part and start the test. LEDs 1-2 gradually flash on the tester, wire 3 is broken, the LEDs do not light up, and the test continues by flashing LEDs 4-5-6-7-8-G. If we have wires 2 and 4 swapped, the LEDs will be displayed in the order 1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G. If we have a short circuit on two cables, the LEDs on the main unit will not light up on the main unit, on the external unit the two LEDs representing the shorted wires will light up dimly. With multiple shorted wires, the LEDs on the external unit do not light.
