To build a Mesh system, simply extend the RT2600ac existing Wi-Fi router with another MR2200ac router or integrate multiple Mesh MR2200ac routers. The single Wi-Fi name you set allows users to move from room to room - so you can stream video without signal outages and enjoy a unified environment on your own network. With Tri-band technology in one 2.4 GHz band and two 5 GHz bands with MU-MIMO technology support, the MR2200ac can establish three independent connections, connect multiple devices to the network, achieve maximum Wi-Fi speeds and reduce congestion. Smart Connect ensures that devices automatically connect to the most convenient bandwidth where they can achieve optimal connection performance - significantly reducing delays and interruptions. The hosted network offers a secure connection that gives the public and temporary visitors only limited privileges - so the primary network remains fully functional and well protected. You can also set up a welcome portal for all users who want to connect to your hosted Wi-Fi network. You can also prevent unwanted connections with tools such as scheduling, automatic password change, and MAC address filtering. Because the MR2200ac supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), you can automatically configure your Wi-Fi connection at the touch of a button and enjoy seamless setup. The built-in USB 3.0 port for additional storage devices allows you to turn the MR2200ac into a private server that provides seamless access and file sharing.
