This NAS server offers two bays each holding a 2TB, 4TB Seagate NAS hard drive that is engineered to run 24 x 7 and delivers performance for home or business use. These drives are rated higher for reliability and run cooler than the standard hard drive, offering more protection for your critical files. The NAS server features SimplyRAID technology that's built into the NAS OS 4 software. This technology guides you in choosing between JBOD, RAID 0, and 1, which balances performance, capacity, and redundancy. Once configured, connect the NAS server to your network via the Gigabit LAN port or to your Windows, Mac, Linux PC via USB 3.0.

For accessing files on the NAS when on the go, Seagate offers Sdrive for PC, Mac, Android, and Apple OS devices.
