This scent is devoid of flora notes, apart form the camomile, which too is a more grassy scent than floral. The top notes are a heavy combination of the greens and sharp spice; with fresh grassy notes of basil, thyme, and artemisia accompanied by sweet, spicy notes of clove, cumin and coriander. The heart is a purely masculine one and includes a strong composition of conifer woods, patchouli, oakmoss, and vetiver. The base note does nothing to lighten the other two and, in fact, accentuates them with intensely warm ones as tobacco and thyme. Nothing says man like Ralph Lauren Polo Green, created by famous perfumer Carlos Benaim in 1987. The scent comes in a bottle of emerald green, the center of which embossed with the Ralph Lauren logo in a regal gold color as is the stopper.
