Fresnel lights offer a focusable spotlight and are used in film, television, and theater lighting.

The Nanguang CN-100FDA is a 100-watt 5600k daylight balanced LED Fresnel light, employing a 5" glass Fresnel lens. It has an excellent lumen per watt ratio making it powerful but economical on electricity. With a flicker-free output the CN-100FDA is perfect for continuous video lighting.

Controlling the brightness is easy thanks to a dimmer switch on the back of the unit. The focus of the light can switch between spotlight and floodlight by turning the adjusting knob clockwise or anticlockwise to give a light spread anywhere between 10°-60 ° respectively.

For added light control, the kit also comes with a set of barn doors to fine-tune the light direction and avoid light spill.

A handy LCD screen is situated on the side of the light's housing to indicate functions and operating data. The light is DMX controllable via the DMX input socket to the rear of the light's housing, and also has a DMX out socket which facilitates the ability to daisy-chain with other lights or feed back to controllers.

Because LED lights are efficient, they release very little heat and therefore the CN-100FDA requires only a very low powered and almost completely silent inbuit fan to generate a small air convection for cooling. With such a very low level of noise, you won't have to worry about the whirring noise of fans ruining your audio.

A U-Bracket and clamping screw is supplied with the kit for easy standardised fixing and adjustment to light stands that have the standard lighting spigot

The power adapter can be secured safely to the underside of the light's housing, with a secure slide in mechanism. This ensures a perfect 24V DC connection to the 4-pin XLR power socket and a solution to untidy and dangerous cable arrangements.
