DVD R DL (Double Layer) is a recent addition to Imation?s recordable DVD product line-up. As its name suggests, a double layer disc can store nearly twice the amount data as a standard DVD. A DVD R DL will allow you to record 4 hours of uncompressed DVD-quality video on one side of a single disc (that?s at least as long as a full-length movie!), or up to 16 hours of VHS quality video. PC users are able to archive up to 8.5GB of data - whether that?s high-resolution images, vast music compilations or huge presentations - on a single disc.
