The Latest Generation Of XCD Lenses.The XCD 2,5/55V, XCD 2,5/38V, and XCD 2,5/90V, are compact, lightweight, and maintain Hasselblad’s top-class optical performance. A fully upgraded focusing module enables faster and more accurate autofocus. The leaf shutter provides flash synchronization at all speeds and is now even more compact.Each metal lens features both a focus ring and lens control ring delicately engraved with a Hasselblad “H” logo print. A simple push and pull of the focus ring changes from AF to MF mode, where intuitive scale marks keep focus distance and DOF clear at a glance. The control ring can be customized for quick access to preferred functions, making shooting more convenient and efficient.

The Latest Generation Of XCD Lenses.The XCD 2.5/90V lens features nine elements in six groups, including one aspheric element. Equivalent to a full frame 71mm focal length, this moderate telephoto lens delivers top-class optical performance with a compact build and supports an image resolution of over 100 megapixels. A large aperture of f/2.5 makes it an ideal portrait lens. Equipped with an upgraded leaf shutter, the XCD 2.5/90V can reach a shutter speed up to 1/4000s, and delivers flash synchronisation at all speeds. The shutter is fast and quiet, and is complemented by the newly designed focusing module delivering quick and accurate focusing. The lens has both a focus ring and a lens control ring. Changing between AF and MF is achieved by a convenient push and pull of the focus ring. In MF mode, you can easily check the focus distance and DOF readings. The control ring can be customised for quick access to your prefered function.

Equivalent to a full-frame 71mm focal length, the XCD 2.5/90V moderate telephoto lens is perfect for close-up portraits or still lifes. Its focal length coupled with a large f/2.5 aperture creates a beautiful soft bokeh effect that highlights the subject.
