BlackBerry’s freshest offering, BlackBerry Q10 LTE White is the first of the BB10 series to offer both, touchscreen navigation and a physical QWERTY keyboard. True, touchscreen is all the rage, but there still is a segment that swears by a physical keyboard, and BlackBerry is renowned for its famous QWERTY keypad. So why not?

Running on the new BlackBerry 10 OS (QNX OS), it sports a 720x720 Super AMOLED 3.1-inch display screen, the biggest on any BlackBerry QWERTY device. Its bright screen boats a pixel density of 328ppi and offers amazing viewing angles. Powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor and 2GB RAM, it has an internal memory of 16GB. A bigger 2100mAh battery means longer talk-time and less frequent recharging.

Built from high performance materials, the BlackBerry Q10 is elegant yet tough. Rounded edges snugly fit the device in your palm while the back, made from a strong and attractive material called ‘glass weave’, give the Q10 a premium feel. Noticeably missing from the design is the BlackBerry trackpad. And that’s not such a bad thing; given you have the touchscreen to end the tedious process of scrolling.

Built around the use of gesture, the thumb is all you need to navigate effortlessly and smoothly on the beautiful touchscreen. Although no specifications have been divulged regarding the camera, it features both a rear and front-facing camera, perfect for BBM Video. The clever Time Shift feature is its highlight. Capturing milliseconds before and after the actual snap, you can make adjustments to create the perfect picture.

Expanding on the connectivity front, the Q10 is equipped with microUSB, miniHDMI port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. At 10.3mm-thick and weighing at 139g, the BlackBerry Q10 White is making sure that not only does it restore it’s place in the market but also continues to keep the physical keypad alive.
